The wheat-tailed shraw is a small critter that lives in burrows underground surrounded by tall grass. It's claws are adapted for carving out a network of tunnels and digging up insects.

When a shraw sees a predator approaching it erects its long tail while sending out a warning call to others in its group before disappearing into the grass.
