A Journey Begins- WIP Tonal Corrections (critique requested)

VeyZ

First of all I'd like to give a big thanks to Tyler Edlin for giving me advice and correcting my mistakes. Its always so good to get a second opinion and critique from others. Especially people who are more advanced. Its very rewarding and you learn something new every time!

Never be afraid to ask for help. 8D

Anyway, as you can see my background was far too dark and my characters didn't pop out from it. Everything had high contrast as well. He also suggested that I get rid of the two foreground elements (the dark slabs of rock on the upper right and lower right corner.) No need for them.

I'm excited about this piece I hope it turns out well and that I can pull it off. Light and shading are my weak skill points that I greatly need to improve on. I will most defiantly be doing more tonal studies. Its something I greatly need to improve on.

Again, special thanks goes out to Tyler Edlin.

Also allow this to help others to study and improve.
