Holy crap on a stick, it’s finally done! This picture took way longer than it shoulder have for two reasons: thin lineart is a pain in the a** and this drawing style doesn’t gell with my brain for some reason.

All right, so…description! Yeah. These are two of my newest OCs, Lyra (the maltese cheetah) and Eros (the white lion). They live in a Lord of the Rings-ish fantasy world, so they’re basically acting as human characters in animal bodies. Obviously, they are still wee cubs in this picture. But don’t they look sweet? I’m not used to drawing lovey-dovey pictures. Much more of this and I’ll lose my hellish red glow. Yes, I’m retarded. And bored. And retarded.

I used a TLK screen shot as a ref for Eros, and loosely referenced an old TLK coloring sheet and a photo of a cheetah cub for Lyra. Because I fail epically at TLK style. I’m hoping I’ll be able to wean myself off of the references after a few more tries. And for the record these are not TLK OCs, nor are they in any way connected to the TLK universe. I just happen to like the style, so kindly keep any rude comments about me being unoriginal, untalented, or stupid to yourself. I didn’t join DA to have other people dictate what style I can draw in.

Okay, I think that’s it for now. I should post some more info about these guys later.
