Rubber Product Placement by VentusSilver

The forest was, and is a very dense place, not a whole lot of people like to live in this certain environment, but that was the way Shiny lived. He barely had any preferences but only to live in a safe environment so he would not be harmed, that’s all that mattered nowadays.
Once in a while he would always travel up the highest tree that he could find and look down at the place that he could truthfully call his only home; it became quite the struggle to actually get up on top, much less balance yourself when you actually got to the top, but all the while the view was worth every sweat. Every sound, every patch of plains and the sweet scent of the fresh trees is what he usually lived for…
But only soon enough would he be forced to relocate...
Usually after a few days resting endlessly in his favorite knothole from a tree he would usually go up and go sightseeing once more from the high trees, so he rolled over onto his small belly (scratching his bum) and pulls himself onto his feet and started to climb from the branches to climb up the tall tree.
Soon he was on top, relaxed from the cool breeze that he would feel every time he was above the ground. Very relaxing indeed.
But then as he turned the other way, he soon saw a little bit of smoke from the trees, except this smoke wasn’t from a tree as he would soon see for further inspection.
It was smoke coming out of an industrial factory.
Before he tried to react and look to investigate, the factory, he felt a violent shake from the tree; the totodile soon hanged onto whatever he could find but knew that it wasn’t enough. He soon after a few shakes started to tumble down into the deep forest, flailing his arms around even though he only caught air.
He then sunk into what he could only describe as a big sack, as he would try to find his way out of his (cotton-soft) prison. But with no such luck was he able to make it out, and only then, he was forced to wait it out, and would hope to handle whatever came his way as the unknown person was taking him to the factory.
After what seemed like hours, he felt a slight stop with his travel, and then all of a sudden he was forced out of the bag, tumbling down a metal like hill, when he came to a complete stop, he felt himself still on the move, but on some sort of a belt.
He soon wondered where he was going while he was going down what seemed to be a conveyor belt, as he wasn’t paying much attention to what was at the end of the metal, moving road. He also saw a few animals riding along with him, but they seemed to be knocked out, they were still breathing, but they were somewhat asleep.
Soon before he could pay attention, he started to tumble down even deeper, the road getting a little faster, and before he could react, he saw a big tub of white liquid that was right underneath the belt, and from his current position, he could not get off in time.
The totodile dropping towards the gigantic tub of liquid, getting the feeling he would not make it out of this alive, he felt himself drop down into the container below him, the liquid enveloping around his body as he sank deeper.
Goodbye forest……
“Darn postal service, what’s taking them so long to deliver my package?” the anthro Lugia pondered, slightly ticked off from the long delaying.
Its been 6 weeks since his order, the company he bought from promised a special order that would come in a week early, and so, the package still did not arrive on time.
“That’s it, I’m calling the post office!” He enraged, finally at his last straw; just as he picked up his timely old home phone…
HONK! HONK! HONK!
A delivery man soon pulled up into his drive way, the person coming to him with a familiar sized box as he was visible thru the window.
About time
He soon opened the door to allow himself to talk to the man, a sleek 20 year old man with freckles and skinny arms, spoke out to him. “Silver, Ventus?”
“Err, yes; is that my package?” he questioned, slight excitement in his tone.
The man extended a clipboard from his free arm: “Yeah man, all I need it the-”
Without hesitation, Ventus pulled the board from him and signed the signature (Lugia’s 5 pointed-outward-like star at the end of his name) as it was an autograph and passed it back to him. He quickly bid him farewell and closed the door.
As he saw the truck leave his driveway, he closed all of his windows and covered him, and put on a few lights so he would be able to see. He prepped himself to open the box slowly so nothing would be broken, and then he saw the label on the front:
FUN RUBBER ANIMALS
Me gonna have fun with dis one
He turned it over on its front side of the box, but then, a frown was quickly slapped onto his face as he saw not a Lion, but a mere Totodile.
“UGH, they messed up the order!” He shouted, mad as he could ever be, but sighed since the he looked so cute.
He slowly pulled out the plastic covers and opened them up; the first difference was that it felt lighter than a usual Pokémon, maybe because the interior was hollow and merely made of-
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
All of a sudden the Totodile that was in the Lugia’s hands sprigged to life, both Pokémon extremely frightened of one another.
“HOLY S*IT I THOUGHT YOU WERE FAKE!”
“YOU LOOK SCARY!”
Both of them started to back away from each other, becoming scarred for a few moments, until the totodile started to wail in a somber way; Ventus soon heard his cries, it didn’t change his fear of the rubber toy that just came to life, but he eventually looked over to see the poor looking totodile weeping in his corner.
All of a sudden his fear had passed and was switched out with sadness, the wails of fear making him more depressed.
“Hey, are you ok? I didn’t mean to scare you like that…” he calmly said.
The totodile sniffled: “I don’t know, I’m not sure why I feel funny at all.” He soon started to curl into a little ball, weeping still.
“Well I don’t know either, but….” He extended his small wing outward to the small Pokémon. “I’m not gonna hurt you, I promise.”
The totodile looked up to the Lugia, his eyes watered with tears. “Really? Because I don’t want to be hurt anymore.”
“I promise, I won’t hurt you.” He soon picked up the curled up Pokémon and held him in his hands, surprised of his size in his hand.
The totodile soon wiped his eyes with his small arms and looked up to the Lugia. “You don’t look so scary anymore” He giggled.
“Hmm, must have been the lights.” He guessed. “Heh, sorry about that little guy.”
He finally set the totodile down at his feet as he went to sit on the floor.
“So, first thing is first, why- how, are you still alive? I never knew someone made of rubber.” He poked the Totodile’s belly.
“Dun knows, all I remember is dropping into some kind of liquid, and now im made of rubber.” He rubs the spot that he was poked in. “To be honest it feels very good now.”
He soon saw the container he came in, which in turn strikes a question in his mind.
“Say, since you got turned into rubber, how thick is your skin?” He questioned.
“Hmm.” He soon pinched his own skin. “I’m not sure, but I think its a few inches.”
“Hmmmm…wait here.” He ordered gently, as he went into his room to find himself a pump of his, after a few good minutes looking around his (messy) closet, he finally found what he was looking for, and walked back into the room, sitting next to the rubber Pokémon.
The Totodile soon found what was in his hand “What’s that?”
Ventus turned the pump in his hand to show the nozzle. “Did you know anything about where the place you turned into rubber?”
“Well, I only saw other animals that became just like me, and they were sleeping as well.”
“Hmm, do you mind if you try something with me? Of course, you have every right to refuse and I can accept it.” He told to him.
“Well what kind of request do you have?” he questioned, refusing to look away from the nozzle.
“Maybe we could…..blow you up?” He asked gently.
The totodile tilted his head in confusion.
“Y’know…” He then stuck the nozzle into his mouth, and pretended he had a bigger belly.
“Wouldn’t that hurt? Of course I’ll try, but only if it doesn’t hurt” the totodile explained.
“I don’t think it should, balloons are made of rubber, and their skin would stretch out but not physically hurt it.” He also explained.
That made more questions and curiosity pop up into his hollow head.
“Ok, I’ll do it for ya!” He said with much enthusiasm.
“Are you sure? In that case, if you feel it starts to hurt your body, I can shut it off for you. Alright?” He explained.
“Yes sir!” He said with a cheerful smile, “I never did something like this in the first place, heh.”
“Alright, you feel like you need any room? Or do you think you won’t grow so big?” Ventus offered.
“No, I’m fine, I have enough room as it is” The Totodile replied happily.
“Fair enough my friend, hehe; I wonder how big you’ll get.” The Lugia said with a little more enthusiasm. As he kneeled down to the small rubber Pokémon, he extended the nozzle with the cord and struck it long enough for him to be at a safe distance if he were to get smothered by the Totodile; as the cord was stretched out, the Totodile picked up the nozzle, (barely able since his arms were too short) and then stuck it inside of his hollow mouth, the plastic felt somewhat foreign in his mouth, but he didn’t feel any gag reflexes from the taste, but instead, giggling and anticipating his body growth, he gave a thumbs up to let Ventus know that he was ready.
The Lugia then plugged in the outlet for the pump, and then turned on the pump to automatically turn his eyes to the Totodile. At first the small Pokémon was startled from the rush of air was pumping into his belly, which did not change in the shape right away; then he soon felt slight squeaking that came from his slowly but surely growing, he patted his belly in comfort as it would start to become visible as a huge bulge.
As his belly slowly becoming bigger and squeakier, he felt his whole body starting to round out into a sphere, his back and belly equally growing into a curve in its state. He also, from his sphere growth, felt himself rising off of the ground as his bottom self started to touch the ground and bob off the ground; the Lugia saw this and tried to keep him lying on the ground before he would float off from the bouncing, the Totodile’s body felt extremely lighter from his size.
Before he got his limits, the Totodile’s arms, legs and tail started to sink into his body; at first he would start to squirm around as he would not be able to move, but was calmed by the soothing feel of his own skin, and the soft touch of Ventus’s hands.
Feeling his own skin starting to thin out to avoid himself from popping, he tried to speak, but the hose was blocking his mouth, he tried to make as much grunting and hand flapping as he could to get the Lugia’s attention, luckily enough he saw the small tantrum he was throwing in distress and went over to the pump to turn it off.
“So, how you feel little guy?” Ventus asked as he hugged the now 5 foot tall balloon of a Totodile.
“I’m….It’s not sure, it doesn’t hurt I know that.” The totodile said, still observing his balloon form.
“It’s good that it didn’t pop you, otherwise that would be sad.” Ventus comforted with a snuggle into the ballooned Pokémon.
“I guess it feels rather good then, this is much better than I expected and I love it!” He exclaimed with glee.
“I’m glad you like it buddy.” The Lugia returned with a smile.
