Probably the final poster promoting The Lakewood Project's January House of Blues concert. As you can see, I went with a totally different approach to this from the others. I was looking to make one that really looked like an old concert poster that they did in the '70s, and still mimic today. My main inspiration came from this poster, along with a general trend that I saw among a number of posters from way back when. And it's no coincidence it mostly resembles a Who poster. A good portion of our repertoire is Who songs, so I thought I'd do this. Done completely in Photoshop, using the outer glow blend effect, and the picture of Alex was done using the cutout filter, and shutting off the green color channel, followed by a little color balance tweaking.
