Probably the most complex breed art to date!
Poodles have huge variations not only in cut, but in colour and patterning too!
I went for more of a field/sport cut than the show ring, just personal preference.
They carry both merle and brindle, which are more difficult markings to create.
On top of this they have skin tone in all shaved areas, which alters the visual appearance of all the colours and markings.
The merle kicked my ass for a while on how to display on skin tone, as there's literally no references for it anywhere.
So I ended up trying to pull refs from other breeds, and mostly just going with what looked good for lack of.  
Also, sable is a funny marking as it only tips the ends of the hair, thus my sable poodles had it mostly shaved off!
