This is a flashback set to take place in 1978 with Henry at age 3 and Shelby at age 2. Mr. and Mrs. Takamoto and Mr. and Mrs. Masaki were in the living room, drinking cocoa and talking. After hearing Henry and Shelby sing "nana-nanana, nanana-nanana, nana rock 'n' roll!" off-key in the kitchen, the mothers spat out their cocoa in Mr. Takamoto's face and ran to the kitchen, thinking there was something wrong and found them pretending to be rock stars. The mothers commented "Aww! Mommy's little rock stars! Cute!" This is a promo piece for a Henry Takamoto pilot movie I'm writing the script to.
