Commission for neo_malik @ FA of his Eurasian lynx fursona :O I have a hard time motivating myself to do backgrounds so getting commissioned to do pieces with backgrounds every once in a while is nice because it's the only thing that can motivate me to get in practice with them XD I had a tough time with those leaves but I tried at least 3 different techniques before settling with one result. I need more background practice ;_; Critiques are welcome as any BG/painting advice would be great but I think it'd be ideal if they were noted to me out of respect for the commissioner.

Also I know technically the shadows should be all scattered on the subject due to the leaves above him buuut I am no pro at BGs so I can't possibly get that technical until my overall skill at them improves :P
