I've been playing with the idea of making an African Wild Dog version of Van. It just bugs me how my fursona is just a generic canine with no particular species. I mean I don't think this new version would replace her, but maybe if I end up making this design more interesting and become attached she will, down the road. Not likely though because I'm too attached to regular Van. Just sayin you can't hate me if it happens (if it does though it'd probably be way down the road cause I have little time to art this semester).

Her markings here kind of bore me though, idk :( If anyone has any suggestions for her design, please halp!!

I may incorporate her back stripes, perhaps that'd help.

Used a ref on the left one from Google images, in case it's not obvious since that one looks much more AWD-like, haha.

AWDs totally don't match my personality unfortunately (they kill constantly and are highly social) but they are one of my favorite animals.
