A werewolf soft doll (no armature) for a monster craft trade. Her new caretaker named her Lycania. :]

Her face is coloured polymer clay with some painted details. The body is completely handsewn, pattern designed from scratch. She's stuffed rather firmly; she can stand upright if she has a little something to lean on.

It's difficult to tell in these photos, but I used two different furs - her neck, tail & upper arms are shaggy dark grey, and the rest of her body is a very sleek peppery with a black base.

Her paws are needlesculpted to give the shape of paw pads, and her talons are rubber clay - I wanted them to remain flexible after curing, so they wouldn't snap!

Her eyes are glass marbles backed with glow in the dark clay, which works quite nicely, but doesn't photograph well.

This was my first attempt at attaching sculpted features to a fabric body; turned out all right! And my first pattern from scratch: gotta start somewhere...
