A commission for of a highly detailed size-comparison chart of 16 different melee (close combat) weapons from both of our story canons.

1. The "Blitz Spear", the favoured weapon of choice of Torquil Raedon the Emolga. It can be used both as a stabbing/slashing weapon and as an energy weapon. The highly refined Thunder Stone at its tip and amplify and focus electric attacks of the wielder into powerful energy beams.

2. The "Blitz Fang", Torquil's secondary weapon, designed specifically for combat against other Katana-wielding opponents like Nikolai. Has many similar properties of the Blitz Spear but with the advantage of being more more light-weight and easy to carry.

3. The "Ama Katana." A cursed blade with the soul of a deceased tyrannical Dusknoir, "Faustin", trapped inside of it. It grants any wielder special powers like enhanced strength, a healing factor and slowed aging, but at the cost of gradually losing control of one's own mind and body to the aforementioned trapped soul inside.

4. The "Sinful Roses," two kunais that are the weapons of choice of Queen Aurora the Dewott.

5. The "Joy Reaver," the favoured weapon of Leilia the bipedal Flareon. It's extreme bulk and weight make it so that only 'Mons with immense upper body strength can wield it. It also has a large refined Fire Stone embedded in it.

6. The "Requiem Blade", a small dagger made from a refined Thunder Stone given to Ryder Stryker the Raichu at a young age. It can be used both for stabbing and to amplify and project electric attacks.

7. "Reinmeka", Nikolai's custom-made Asgardian Katana forged from the extremely rare and durable Uru metal. A specialized blast furnace made from a giant modified plasma cutter was needed to heat the metal to the temperatures higher than the surface of the Sun to melt the ore so it could be crafted into a blade, then enchanted with powers over weather like wind, lightning and rain. The wielder, if worthy, can also use it to fly by creating a small solid cloud-like object beneath their feet they can surf the skies on and grants them enhanced strangth, speed, stamina and a healing factor.

8. "Savoury Slaughter", otherwise known as "Harvey Bennett's favourite way to cut things." The deranged, scar-faced Buneary was gifted this knife by Ace as a tool for tight situations when he first joined Team Enterprise, and after being expelled kept it as a reminder of both his horribly botched life and as a way to "savor all the little emotions" from some of the Pokémon he kills just for fun.

9. "Strict Voice," Queen Hera the Pikachu's quarter-staff. Crafted by her twisted and corrupt father, Gavin VI, A.K.A. "Darkus," the staff itself is comprised of extremely tough metals and wood, blackened by ebony and other volcanic minerals, and encrusted with two highly refined Thunder Stones on either end that can launch powerful lightning strikes at foes.

10. "Windcaller," King Conrad the Cinccino's signature rapier. Crafted from Pjanuri Neutrali's special; Rainbow Shard, which is made by taking elemental stones and shards (Thunder, Fire, water, Leaf, Moon stone. Nevermeltice, Metal Coat, Dragon Scale; etc). Due to the difficulty of obtaining the materials; Rainbow shard is insanely uncommon and strong; with Conrad's blade being the only known example of the material being refined into a stable object. It is nearly indestructible, lighter than aluminum, and enhances all the elemental powers of any wielder. Like Reinmeka, it is also magically enchanted and it tough enough to shrug off both lightsabers AND pretty much any other unnaturally strong material, like Adamantium and Uru.

11. "The Reaper of the Sea," the infamous near-indestructible cutlass wielded by the notorious Crawdaunt pirate, Captain Vicegrip. Forged from a mix of Adamantium and a few other strong metals, this cutlass was specifically designed to withstand combat with foes wielding weapons known to be able to slice through anything, like lightsabers (since his first sword was cut clean in half by Ace's lightsaber on their first encounter.) Due to its size and ability to cut through almost anything, it has gained a reputation on the high seas as a weapon not to by trifled with.

12. The "Punny Sabre," the signature rapier of the Lopunny Superheroine, "Cutey Punny" (owned by NotMolo [https://www.weasyl.com/~notmolo].) Like Reinmeka and Windcaller, this sword is also nigh indestructible and enchanted, and can only be used to its full potential by those worthy. Its make and alloy are unknown, even by Cutey Punny herself (she inherited it from the previous 'Mon to hold the title and don the costume), but it grants her enhanced strength, speed and can launch non-fatal concussive energy bolts from the tip to stun her foes.

13. The "Crimson Enforcers," the infamous red lightsabers of the Bisharp Sith Lord, "Blade." Designed with curved hilts for specialized forms of lightsaber combat and with connectors at the hind ends to allow the two hilts to be connected together into one Darth Maul-style, Lord Blade brings out these bad boys whenever he feels simply using is Magneto Master of Magnet powers just wont cut it and he wants to lay down defeat on his enemies the old fashioned way.

14. Master Liana the Latias's green-bladed lightsaber, "Peacekeeper." Named as such because Liana prefers to end conflicts before they start, and only uses violence when absolutely necessary. Even when the green blade does need to come out, it's almost always used as a deterrent in a fight rather than to kill or maim.

15. Benjamin MacGlover the Lucario's deep-blue lightsaber blade. This lightsaber got its cheeky nickname from of all people his girlfriend, Renee the Braixen, who would constantly make embarrassing phallic jokes about how Benjamin tended to ignite the blade at hip-level when entering combat situations, and the fact that his thick Coruscant accent sounds a lot like a Galarian (British) accent, so after a while the name stuck.

16. Ace Spade the Human-turned-Pikachu's lightsaber, "Aggressive Negotiations." More accurately, it's a "lightsaber shoto," a lightsaber with a shorter blade-length to accommodate a wielder of short stature, most famously Yoda (Pikachu being similar in average height to the little green Muppet Jedi Master", Ace like most Jedi never originally gave an intentional name to his lightsaber, but being he is a pop-culture-spouting dork, he would often claim it's time for "Aggressive Negotiations" before entering combat with his little light-blue weapon, so as a joke, especially after being inspired by many of his friends in the Pokémon world naming their weapons, he began referring to his own as the cheesy Attack of the Clones zinger just to toy with people.

Side-note, this by far the largest drawing I've ever posted here file-size-wise. It was originally much larger but I had to compress it a bit to meet with deviantART's upload standards. You can zoom in twice to see an insanely high amount of detail (including all the little flaws in the pen lines. XD)

This is a "Part 1" because there are actually a few more Melee weapons that I couldn't fit on this sheet and as such will have to save for a later upload, not to mention all the long-range weapons, special items, magic artifacts, ships and other stuff I'll eventually probably make reference charts like this for.
