It seems the ill-fated Ribombee from last time somehow managed to escape Vasha's clutches before her "curse" could take full effect. However...though his mind is mostly intact...his body is seemingly permanently changed. He is essentially "undead," and he's having difficulty coming to terms with his new "form." It doesn't help that before he escaped, Vasha clipped his wings to make flying difficult, and the bandage wrappings on his body will not come off no matter how hard he pulls on them, as though they're part of his body now. All he can do is stare at is reflection in the water and ask himself a slew of existential questions.
