I imagined today that Alice (from Universe 63), rather than being dumped into the Pokemon world as a young adult instead had her "humanity" torn from her as a preteen, meaning much of her human childhood was lost in her memory after living most of her life as a Pokemon. In addition, where ace only lost ONE hand in a lightsaber duel; in his adolescence, Alice lost BOTH forepaws in an accident (perhaps severe frostbite or something heavy falling on them) at just the age of about 8. And since the Pokémon world's technology, especially two decades before current canon, was much more limited than the Star Wars-y one Ace grew up in, Alice had to spend the next several years of her life without any forelimbs, and only got her fully functional prosthetics after she evolved into a Pikachu in her mid-teens. This of course made her extremely vulnerable to bullying in her youth, thus added to her tenacity, her ruthless, bloodthirsty tenancies towards enemies and why she often tends to make a lot more use of her feet and tail than most other Pikachu, even Ace himself. While relaxing, she'll often just use her feet to pick up things off a table like a coffee cup or a phone instead of leaning forward to grab them with her prosthetic paws out of habit.
