Circuit, the cyborg fox by Unex

Circuit, the cyborg fox

Unex

Here's a new character of mine :D I think there aren't enough characters with mechanical parts out there, so I really wanted to make one like this. This design may not be final, though.

FP-20, better known simply as Circuit, is a cyborg created by Zephyr by using a mix of fox DNA. He serves as a kind of assistant for Zephyr, especially for his bigger projects, but he has a tendency to malfunction every now and then, which can be... rather troublesome, simply put. He also happens to love explosions, and he's a bit clumsy at times, which isn't very convenient considering the careful work he has to do. Nevertheless, he's a cool guy and generally nice to be around.

Circuit's body is half flesh and fur, half robotic components. He may appear like he's wearing the visible robotic parts, but they're actually part of his body and can't be removed. His tail is completely metalic and full of spikes. Needless to say, you'd be in a world of hurt if you were hit by it. And that's not to say that Circuit can retract his hands and swap them for arm cannons at will. You wouldn't exactly want to get on Circuit's bad side.

Circuit is also able to swallow others whole pretty much like Zephyr can, although his tongue isn't particularly long like his inventor's. As he digests his prey, he's able to "download" some of their skills into his own memory, as long as those skills are physically possible for him to perform. The better the skill is, the more memory it occupies, so Circuit eventually has to overwrite older memory to make room for new skills. Skills such as, for example, fluency in a certain language, take a particularly huge amount of memory space.

His stomach acids are very powerful, and his digestion also involves low charges of electricity which can spike at times, generating occasional loud sparkling noises while he digests his prey. His stomach is extremely powerful and can digest nearly anything, so there's usually not much left of his prey besides the data that is stored into his skills memory chip, which's located on his left arm. He actually gains nutrients and fat from his meals just like purely organic life-forms do, but his body is able to burn extra fat rather quickly, so even if he were to eat several prey of his own size in a single day, all the extra fat would be gone in a few days.
