I've just noticed the last time I created a new character was in 2014! Wow, it's been a while. Well, but now I've just made another new one, years later :D

This is Synth, a short and timid but very friendly cat. He enjoys drawing and composing music, but is usually too shy and lacks self-confidence to share his work with others. However, once you're friends with him, he's a lot more open. He has trouble approaching people he doesn't know, so he doesn't have many friends, but he deeply treasures the friendships he does have.

Synth's body has the odd characteristic of producing cold instead of heat. He doesn't even actually know how that came to be - he just has the vague memory of one fateful day when he mysteriously woke up in the dead of the night in the middle of a blizzard in the woods, feeling oddly comfortable even with the extreme temperature. At first, it wasn't just the memory of that night that was foggy; whatever the events of that day were, they had taken their toll on his entire memory, which wasn't exactly wiped, but he'd find himself trying really hard to remember past events and the names of his acquaintances. Even though he's basically recovered from that short-term amnesia, he still doesn't remember just what happened that night. One of the few other things he still doesn't remember is: what heat feels like.

Synth isn't affected by external temperatures, no matter how high or low. He always feels comfortable in the little island of cold that his body is. And people who are too close to him can actually feel the chill emanating from his body, so the main point of him wearing clothes is so the cold is contained within him and doesn't bother other people around. This is especially true in winter, when people wouldn't be fond of a walking air conditioner next to them. On the plus side, hugging him in a hot summer day would be just perfect!
