For Kace! I still like how this icon turned out enough to put it here

DEFINITELY going to try this again. I lightly used Prismacolor pencils (on illustration board) for the base, then dipped a brush in some turpenoid (doesn't give me a headache unlike turpentine..) as if I were using watercolor pencils. The turpenoid blended and softened the colors in a way that I liked. I gave it about 10 minutes to dry, then finished up the details with more Prismacolor pencils.
