Just experimenting with character ideas. This guy started out as some weird bird but turned into a blue marlin inspired thing.

I'd like some opinions on it. I already simplified the colors since the actual blue marlin patterns made him look wicked cluttered, but I'm not really sure if he still looks too busy?

I might experiment more with his...uh..nose position? But I like it sticking up like this.

I really like him but something just seems off, but maybe that's because I didn't draw him anymore after this.
