I figured it was about time to pull out some characters from my mental toy box and play around with them a bit.

This here is Gear.

Gear was the first golem automaton created by the master wizard, Artro. Once the Alchemist Guild discovered what Artro had created they immediately copied his research and started mass producing these 'Gears' as soldiers for their army. None of these duplicates were ever able to measure up to the original, because Gear has his own sense of self; something that the Guild has yet to duplicate.

He and Artro were caught in a massive magical explosion, killing Artro and nearly destroying Gear scattering his parts across the realm. A good portion of his parts were recovered by an able-bodied blacksmith who then began reassembling Gear. Though skilled, the blacksmith wasn't able to put Gear back together quite like he was before the blast. As a result Gear had lost a large portion of his memory, including all knowledge of his original creator, Artro.

He is in constant danger of being found out and captured by the Alchemist Guild to be dismantled and studied.

Playing around with some extreme angles and action... I'm liking how it turned out.
