This Fair Weather by UlyssesCanton

Companionship is an inconvenience.

We try as hard as we can to please,

Yet we fail, falling to the floor in desperation.

This fair weather seems to be a trend.

We seem to only have one goal.

Use people, make not one friend.

Lie about intentions,

Lie about passion,

Lie about everything.

The idea that we can get along,

The idea that your friend is really your friend,

It is such a lovely facade.

Holding hands creates tension.

Comfort is strangulation.

No one will really love you.

This fair weather seems to be a trend.

We seem to only have one goal.

Use people, make not one friend.

This Fair Weather

A personal pet peeve of mine, fair-weathered people...

Also, I've done some folk noodling with this. Expect a recording in the future.
