so there’s one other thing about maxwell: he was raised to avoid his own reflection, there are no mirrors in his house, and he was taught very strictly that removing his mask in public– in front of anyone– would offend and upset everyone in a fifty-mile radius. he feels skinned and gross out of his mask. he does have a couple other styles of mask, for special occasions, but this one matches most of his clothing.
