The Singer by TykeTheHusky (critique requested)

The Singer

It's her heart that beats as they fill the seats, her moment on stage has arrived.
From this day forward things will change, she's made it this far and survived.
And with each lift, each perfect fifth, her winning voice rocks the walls.
So with every tone, her sound is sewn, and the cheering fills the halls.

..But the impression fades day by day, and so she's told she can no longer stay,
the girl in dress has made her way.. her talents left in long lost days.

It's her heart that tells her to carry on, but her head that says the time has gone.
And with a final reach she sings her best, a tribute to her once held best.

..So where she is now, one can only guess, some say they saw her in a ragged dress.
her posters lay trodden to the ground.. No longer will they hear her sound.
She's probably gone now.. her sound for lend, used as samples for the passing trends,
the singer sings just one more time, but she cannot mend what has come to die.

Talent is talent, regardless of what's new. Show respect to those who had their time in the limelight, because it was them who made others what they are today.

A little poem I made about the industry of music and it's occasionally harsh and unforgiving events.

This is really pretty, its actually really well written. I like how it shortly guides you on a story following the singer and how it tries to make you pity or praise the singer despite the popularity she no longer has. Overall this was beautifully written as its sets a soothing tone for an onlooker. Good job buddy <3
