Black. That's all he could see was black. He grunted softly as his eyes tiredly opened, a wracking pain shot up through his limbs and spine, hitting his head with a massive headache. He could feel the blood pouring from his scratches and wounds. The shackles that were tightly on his wrist and the bindings on his wings didn't help alleviate his pain. They had given him no mercy. And her... she had betrayed him. His teeth grit in pain, sorrow and anger as he glared out into the nothingness of his cell. Never had he felt such betrayal. Of course he had witnessed a glimpse of it when he had figured out the truth... but this was far worse then what any past event could bring. His eyes were now fully in focus, blood shot and demented looking. A chuckling began to rupture through the cell, causing him to start looking around for the source of the sound. " .... I told you going after the girl would cause you more suffering... but then again, this just makes it easier for me to come forth ". A shadow figure with red eyes was forming right in front of him. ' Am I going crazy? ' Caulcifer thought to himself, only to have the Shadow burst out in a horrible hissing laughter, " You fool! You have not tasted the ignorance of sanity since the day you were born. Chaos and havoc are course through your veins. Now be a good lad and just give in. It will make my job easier... " Caulcifer growled and began to launch forward towards the figure, anger and rage in his eyes. Only to be halted by the tight metal cords that kept him only a mere four feet from the wall . He snarled," I will NEVER be like you!" the figure smirked and began to disperse. " One day lad.... one day you will give in and it will be on that day, this world will know fear.... "

Poor Caulcifer, stupid shadow things always stalking him, even when he's busy being in prison and hurting.
