This was another picture that I drew for a contest. The bird featured here is called a Quetzal.

Name: Quetzal ( Pharomachrus mocinno )
Location: Central America
What do they eat? : Fruit, Insects, Some lizards and can eat small creatures
Size: 15-16 inches ( tail can extend to 24 inches)
Males grow twin feathers during mating season.
Quetzal pairs use their beaks to hollow out nesting holes
Are the symbol of Guatemala
They are threatened due to deforestation
