I don't currently have any tattoos but I have considered having one for a long time. I'm very tentative about making any kinds of permanent changes in my life, but I want to cover up some scars I have from past self-abuse, and I think this is a positive way to approach it. The character here is Truro, my first "fursona" from my early furry days. His character is embodied by a lot of pain and sorrow and his story ends quite tragically.

The style I am drawing from here is that of the Pazyryk - mummies in Siberia have been found with beautiful tattoos still engraved in their skin and this is an attempt to pay homage to their beautiful work. Check out the Ice Maiden of Altai if you're into archeology!
