The sculpture is roughly 6 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 3.5 inches high. The moss platform is roughly 10 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 1 inch high. The sculpture has foundational gesso primer and is finished with acrylic. Each scale was meticulously painted under a magnifying glass and then repainted with satin gloss to accent the piece. The eyes are also treated with gloss.
