Perhaps you’ve wondered where I get that “TrooperBrass” name for this account from. Here’s the story:

Before he became a lawyer, Alonis tried a different path in life after college: law enforcement. Perhaps he just didn’t want a “desk job” and wanted to work under God’s sky, doing meaningful work to help people and make society safer, and perhaps the potential excitement of it all was attractive. Having gone on two police ride-alongs with a small police department in college, his interest was piqued in this career path. Nonetheless, this path didn’t work out, but we can all dream and wonder “What if that had worked out?”

Here’s a commission done by the ever-amazing thatblackfox who helped me put Alonis in a trooper’s uniform. Like before with my first reference sheet, I think she did a really swell job and this turned out precisely what I had in mind when I started this project with her. Uniforms for characters – especially those based on a real life analogue – can be tricky and law enforcement uniforms are no exception. This is reasonably faithful to the real thing.
