You know the problem with being the last of anything, by and by there be none left at all..

The Alphyn was a rare heraldic beast unlike its peers the Dragon, Unicorn, Griffin. it can be seen on a handful of heraldic symbols (Lords De La Warr and the arms of Jean De Dallion) and youll find the odd splattering of alphyn imagery, but asides that they were quite elusive.

i would imagine the last living Alphyn to be a prized pet and companion to an old withering king, lazily slumped in the middle of an old banqueting table as those around drunkenly indulge in a hedonistic night of gluttonous joy. indifferent to the surrounding festivity and sullen in temperament dear Alphyn takes no real notice of the mob whom now seem to be in full swing of celebration. knowingly being the last of your kind can put a real damper on a day.
