She came into existence because I've been seeing and reading a few Legend of Spyro fan comics and dragons and I'm just, "Shit those were days... Wait. THEY ARE DAYS TODAY" and then Smuldyr came into thoughts. She was initially gonna look a lot more lava veiny, but my brain is barely wrapping itself around using a cintiq (Coloring is less of a pain, but lineart is hell now wtf is this trade off?!) so I went for flames instead. Still looks as lit as the other envision if not much better to stand out, because last night/night before my friend showed a design of someone's commission of a elemented dragon LoS style and they went for the more lava look. Looks fantastic btw.

About Smuldyr (Pronounced: Smolder): She is a rough and generally not amused type. Very hot tempered on a really bad day. More or less in the militeristic crowd where they do see shit and get hit. Loathes a fair chunk of the guard because depending on which lore I think of, usually pretty corrupt. Seeing what the guards deem as fair to let loose (usually actions to the determent of dragon kind) would absolutely drive her nuts. Always ready to dish out punishment because taught that life is playing with fire, you are bound to get burned. She tends to help those that are deemed weak. Possibly of being in their shoes before. Honestly if I choose to clans she would be in her own of clan: Ashen. Based on her ashy sooty look. The smoke of a very vicious fire. Very much a fire elemented dragon.

I have been feeling super writey urges lately, hopefully we can see something later. For now I'm just drawing what I want, going through a list, and dealing with sudden irl events of a hamster passing away recently (RIP Stormy you will be missed, you and your lil bunny like ears).
