DESCRIPTION/UPLOADED TO FA ON FEBRUARY 26TH, 2013:
Here is the final product of my recently uploaded lineart! This was my first experience with cell shading and I must say that I am beyond pleased with how things came out! I believe I have a newfound addiction for digital artwork and also for cell shading. The process could have gone a lot quicker if I hadn't been so busy in previous days of working on this, it could have been done in a few short hours or maybe a day and a half. Instead this took me three days to complete. I am so happy with it!

I happen to draw to a lot of music that I can relate to. And this happened to be the song that gave me the idea for this piece. It's a pretty dramatic song and it felt fitting for my situation and for the art itself: http://youtu.be/5zJJidE17Ks (Corner by Blue Stahli)

Little background info from my lineart upload:
"Sort of just a vent of depression for me. Been having a rough past few days and so I put down two of my OC's, Rain on the right (my main OC) which you can recognize as the 'lighter' side of things, and Hazel (the left)who represents the 'darker' end of the spectrum. Hazel has always generally represented everything bad that's ever followed me around or passed me by. I chose to place her behind me a bit with an evil smile because I feel like she's always sitting there, watching me with a sinister expression on her face and a slight chuckle with everything i go through that tears me apart.

The giant human/werewolf hand (it's a mix) represents my past sort of reaching for me once again while in Hazels presence. The human part of the hand represents my real life friends and past lovers sort of trying to take a hold of me, and the werewolf portion of the hand represents my past lovers in fantasy roleplays sort of taking a hold of Rain.

I'm not fantastic with conveying the meanings behind my art a lot of the time. So I'm sorry if I've got anybody confused. Just enjoy the eye-candy. :P"
