I figured I'd ditch the crazy eyebrows and make my character look a little bit more like me.

Along the way I came very close to drawing him thin, which would make the design closer to who I am really. Fat's kinda my thing though, so I couldn't really do that.

The good thing about it however is that unlike my earlier designs it'll be easier for me to draw a thin version if I wanted to.

Until there's a body, you can refer to the 2013 reference. I'm not keeping the Manul species, but I'll keep the tail. I think matching designs to animals is too limiting.

Torvus is undefined, he might be an alien, or some kinda hybrid monster. It doesn't matter. I'm also ditching the success-fantasy I tend to have when writing about this character. He isn't a super-scientist or villain or anything crazy like that.

There's not much to write about when your character has everything figured out... so I didn't do much in the way of writing. But when there's still much growth to be had, discovery, exploration, etc, there can be something interesting there.
