As much as I often complain about winter, snow and cold weather...I must admit that I still think snow can sometimes be pretty. The weather conditions were just right one day last year that many of the snowflakes were actually visible to the naked eye, and it was quite easy to discern their individual shapes. Luckily I had my camera with me, so I was able to get this interesting picture of one of them after it landed on the bed liner of my truck.

Taken with a Fujifilm Finepix S700, super macro mode, all other settings on automatic. Cropped to 800x600 from the full 7.1MP.

As with most of my photos, this will eventually get moved to scraps after a while.
