I'm not one for self-help books but a musician wrote this book about dealing with depression (not about getting rid of it or escaping it but just dealing with it) and it's pretty awesome. The writer's an atheist so it's not some kind of creepy cult thing, it's not mystical bullshit, it's just stuff he's figured out for himself from his experiences and he tries to make those lessons applicable for everyone.
