Are we speaking the same language?
Does the wolf song stir your soul?
Can you hear and understand me?
Be the one to make me whole?

So many here have listened,
Heard the words but missed the song,
Seen the things that they expected,
Never known that they were wrong.

And I see them and I wonder,
Are their heart songs noise to me?
Is there meaning that I'm missing?
That I'm just too blind to see?

Yeah, we're speaking the same language,
Every verb and vowel and noun.
But the dreams that set us singing,
They lie broken on the ground.
