i realized a while back that i did a subconcious color steal from terribleclaw for my character scatha WHOOPS so i drew this and every once in a while ill work on it a lil. even tho i think im just gonna change her orig purple to blue and maybe give her more of a piebald pattern on her scales....
or maybe a barred pattern that would be pretty.
but no it shouldnt be too ornate who wants to draw like that hahaha haha ha me i do

I really, REALLY love the last one. I'm a huge fan of "albino" ish characters. Or characters with white fur with colors that bring the accents and enunciation's to the character through their colors. I just really love the pink and fadey purples you used.
and i just love her design, period.

no.1 I think would also look cool with aqua eyebrow spots. no.3 colourway reminds me of delicious dragon fruit! maybe once you establish some rules of regions/divisions of colour she could be a chameleon or colour shifter? different fruit-inspired patterns would be fun....
Ultimately I think part of the fun of creating & drawing furries is engaging with something very specific and ornate - that's what animals are like! it's the challenge of making complexity into a simple statement, as nature seems to do so effortlessly.
