My attempt to get out of my digital art funk I’ve been in. Also the start of an attempt to visualize the main pantheon of my Unbroken Unending world thing.

When I started to really work out how I wanted the werecreatures to work in my universe, I decided pretty early on that I didn’t want them ruled by the moon. I eventually tied them to the goddess Night, but then I had to consider “Well… where did the myth of a connection to the moon come from?”

I eventually decided that the Moon god is a consort of Night. Their relationship is tumultuous; sometimes she wraps him in her dark cloak, sometimes they quarrel and he burns away her influence. Silver, the physical representation of the moon’s light, is either unpleasant or all out fatal to all races born from the goddess Night.
