Trippy Drippy Apple by Tilo
It was my first attempt at using my new favorite method of painting using dry pastels and hairstray! I have another painting like this but I will need to get to kinkos to scan it as its rather large. I really want to do more like this, it was fun from start to finish.

Basically I drew the apple in with pastels then sprayed it with a TON of hair spray until it dripped down the canvas. Then I used a paint brush smooth out everything. (As well as a little acrylic paint for the shine and stem.

It looks really cool and i may have to try it some time ^^
I've never had much luck painting but with water colors so i'll just have to see how it goes.
