Something I came up with when commissioning another artist.
This version of Monkey Shantae is half-beast, leaning towards the beastly side than human/half-genie. She seems stuck in this form and lacks the hair whips and magic from her original self. But she doesn't seem to mind.
While super playful, she does retain some intelligence and can adapt alongside other people. But in the jungle, she's free from that restrictive society.
