There was an episode in this old anime called Twelve Warriors Explosive Eto Ranger, supposedly turning 25 as of this post, which featured a cute one-off mouse character that I took a liking to. You can think of this slightly fiercer one as an AU version of said character. Expect more of her later.

The story of "The Mouse's Wedding" tells of a family of mice searching for the perfect husband for their young, beautiful daughter, and ending with her meeting with a handsome mouse neighbor.

The Jyarei Monster changed this simple story. Or rather, delayed its ending.

In the altered story, the main character, Shun-Lin Nezumi, trained diligently to find the perfect husband, one of great strength and high intelligence. She would marry the first person who would defeat her in combat, as they would require both traits. However, no one has even came close. Even the four most powerful champions in the world, The Blazing Sun (Dragon), The Elusive Cloud (Hawk), The Nimble Wind (Hare), and the Unstoppable Wall (Tortoise), all fallen before her might. Stories of her achievements and victories bestowed upon her many nicknames, but she was known mostly by one infamous title: The Monster Mouse Bride.

She was far from invincible, but still totally unbeatable. Even the strongest of men have were no match, and they tried hard. It was an incredible feat... Which ultimately led to increasing frustration, as it continued to defeat the purpose of her true goal of getting married. But the ongoing quest of becoming the best drove her forward.

Her father decided to assist her by holding a mixed martial arts tournament, with 32 eligible bachelors that she commended from her journey, including a young mouse the four champions told her about, one who was rumored to be almost as unmatched as her.

Shun-Lin's father found the future son-in-law and knew this lad would be perfect for his little girl. But thanks to the Jyarei, he would have to earn the right to marry her.

Luckily, the mouse's jealous rabbit friend would unknowingly narrow down the roster and speed up the schedule.
