There are a number of things that Galar is famous for (sometimes infamous). One of such things is known as the Dynamax Phenomenon.



Rumor tells of an unknown energy source residing below the region that serves to power the entire region. However, there are risks involved.



Unless closed off by the power company, virtually anyone can check out the rocky "dens" throughout the wild area that emit the same glowing energy that has become said power. Bursts of energy can occur without warning, resulting in individuals growing to extraordinary size. Certain species' forms can even change from Gigantamaxing, though that itself is a mystery.



Even being informed of all this by Sophie, Cookie experienced this first hand and found herself to be larger than she already is. For some reason, she was surprised her clothes were still intact as they grew along with her.
