There's been this old theory some years ago.

For some reason, I love Pichu in Smash Bros Melee, but it was never seen again until Smash Ultimate.



When Brawl and Smash 3DS/WiiU came out, we have a Pikachu with convenient blue goggles, so many Smash fans believed the Pikachu in those two entries is the Pichu evolved after Melee.



So I commissioned finimun to make use of said theory by drawing up this scene.

MeleeChu found a "spark" of potential in this new Pichu that had entered the Smash ring and decided to pass along its old goggles for luck.



Interestingly enough, that Pichu has a lot of power to make up for its unstable electrical storage.

And here we are.



Will this Pichu evolve come next Smash? Only time will tell.
