"How is my costume fairing Sir Peitho?" Fa Lihua look intently at her pink canterwit captain. The head of the
house of Rostherne; also the most pink canterwit that she had ever seen. Critiquing at outfits for
a particular reason. Captain Peitho judges every costume in that the canterwits that are wearing; and he's
not the strict kind of critic either. He usually gives a compliment right after! It may sounded bad but he
makes the other canterwits feel better afterwards of their proud work they put into the costume.
Although...there is one thing he doesn't like that is when the outfit gets ruined...by a mess.
It took a while for her make and she did asked earlier if she can put 'blood' on her outfit, her captain frown when
she mentions blood on the outfit saying that would 'ruin' the quality of the outfit even though it would
fit with the theme that she was going for.

"Hmm...." Peitho look carefully at her outfit. "Very simple design, are you sure this is a costume? Looks
very oriental yet the paper that your wearing could've symbolized something. Although, it is a an adorable
costume. The red ribbon on your braided hair does match nicely with your outfit."

Fa Lihua nodded, her tail swayed enthusiastically. "Yes, this costume is inspiration of a chinese zombie!"

"Chinese zombie?" Peitho felt tiny bit intriqued. "How are these different compared to normal zombies?"

"Oh, they're quite more powerful than normal zombies. These zombies can jump and when they grow strong
by eating a certain amount of flesh and as years go by they become even more stronger-"

Peitho stopped her a briefly. "Yes, yes that's quite story." He had to stopped her there because he had
trouble digesting the story after hearing flesh zombies to risk having nightmares about. That would ruin
his own image of having these kind of disturbing images in his head.

"Oh okay, I'll be going now with my friend for Trick or Treat then!" said Fa Lihua as she waved farewell to
her captain.

"Enjoy your Halloween, Fa Lihua!" He waved back, he then prepared to wear his own costume. Right after
looking at a few more nicely costumes that the females had made.

Waiting outside for her is Maverick, a canterwit from the neighboring houses of Delamere. A very handsome
canterwit but also her dear friend. She greeted him and he smiled. "What a cute costume, who are you supposed to
be?"

"I'm a chinese Zombie!" smiled Fa Lihua, but he look at her awkwardly when she said the word, 'zombie'. "I
know but my captain doesn't want me to wear blood as to mess up the costume."

"Oh that makes much more sense then." laughed Maverick.

"And what are you supposed to be Frankenstein's Monster?" Fa Lihua joked, she knew
Maverick is but she's just playing with her friend.

"Oh no, your way wrong with that one. I'm a werewolf! See the broken chains? That's from breaking them
from holding me from the peasants that held me hostage." explained Maverick. Along with the costume
he brought his own candy bucket too. A skull no less, hers is pretty much a pumpkin.

"That's a pretty cool skull! Where you find it?" complimented Fa Lihua.

"It's a long story...I'll tell you more when we finally get some sweets!" said Maverick. "We also
have to pick up my best bud too. If you don't mind."

"Sure, I don't." said Fa Lihua as they trail off to head to Alderly. They did eventually
stopped by other canterwit's houses to get candies, and when they are close to Alderly
something made Fa Lihua suddely screamed.

Maverick quickly check on her. "You alright!?"

Fa Lihua was standing on her back legs. Spiders crawling out of her pumpkin bucket, and literally jumping.
"Spiders...I hate spiders!"

Maverick sighed in relief and laughed. The spiders actually are just candies with LEGS! "Oh c'mon they're
candies what harm they can be?"

"Well your the one to talk. You have eyes as candies now!"

"Eyes?" Maverick look at the ground below him, sure enough; his candies now have eyes. "Wow that's
pretty cool! I wonder what they taste like!"

"That's gross!" Fa Lihua shivered, "Whoever did this made a pretty sick trick!"

"It is rather sick." chuckled Maverick, these kind of pranks do certainly amused him. "Are you going to eat
your candy?"

"No....not when it has legs."

"Well, all your candies will be gone now if you let them scurry away."

"No thank you, I lost my appetite." Fa Lihua lowered her ears.

"Suit, yourself." Although, he was wondering if all the canterwits have the same prank. Whoever did this
is magically strong enough to change their sweets into something else. It looks like a harmless prank...
"Tell you what. I'll share a bit of my candy with you. You can probably trust me if I say they're
basically candies."

"Y-Y-Your sure?" Fa Lihua said wearily at her friend.

"Positive."

Brightened Fa Lihua thanked her winged friend. "Thank you."

"Now let's pick up our friends and try out the candies!"

Artist Note: Phew I thought I wouldn't finish this. But I'm glad I did just in
time for the event! I'm really happy with this especially expressions I
did and outfit for both Fa Lihua and Maverick. I had a bit of a trouble
picking out a soundtrack theme for the halloween event, but what can
I say? I just love the FF:CC soundtrack it is so good~ one my favorite
soundtracks to use for story/events/themes aside from Tree of Saviors
and Tales of Symphonia. I really don't mind recommendations of OST
to listen too, so I don't mind suggestions!
