Installed with a strange subroutine that allows them to transfer data and energy to and from stuff at a high pace with the cables on their back, though it makes them unstable and sometimes go berserk. Doru can't recall anything beyond waking up with them, so it's unknown if they're an amnesiac from the modification or were simply created with it.
