St. Christopher, the patron saint of travelers, is often depicted as having a dog head. The reasons for this are varied, but the most popular being that he came from a land of dog-headed, cannibalistic people before he sought Christ and renounced his heathen ways. Upon baptism, this is when he was said to have gained human appearance. I've depicted him here as a wolfhound..because..well, I like them XD

This scan doesn't show it but the lighter parts are actually gold paint.

This is the only art I've ever made that I'm actually going to hang in my house!
