Got a new round of questions on tumblr and though I don't -have- to draw for them, I want to try to draw something for most of them, because it keeps me inspired and keeps me in the groove of drawing.
ok so the question for this one was:

What is the thing your Warden misses the most about home?

Family. the -only- thing that Tryana missed/misses about 'home' in the Alienage, is her family <3

She was always close with her father, getting a pretty easy read on the truth of the matter that was- tryana was really the only thing holding the guy together/keeping him somewhat happy at times, since Adaia's death <3
She and Soris had a good friendship as well, but Tryana and Shianni were always the best of friends <3 Tryana didn't want to leave them behind. It was the only reason tying her to the alienage. Without her family, tryana would have run away to find/join the Dalish so so much earlier than she ended up doing so (which was several years after the Blight)
tryana hated being away, as much as she hated the Alienage and wanted out. She knew firsthand from several different experiences just how horrid life was there. She had a lot of worry over her family while she was forcibly kept away from home through the Blight and being hunted and suchlike.

Then, when tryana and her little gang of misfits eventually did get into Denerim, the first thing tryana did was try to go to the Alienage, wanting to check in with those she loved. And when she found it closed off? well that sent her worries into overdrive, and made her that much more viscous as a result. By the time she -did- get into the Alienage, she was already convinced her family had died in some horrid way. It was some wild stroke of luck to see they were still alive
