(copy-pasted explanation from tumblr because I'm lazt garbage and still fairly unmotivated for anything)

ok so I kicked my ass into gear to draw two things so i think that can count as catch up for not drawing anything yesterday

so.. my ‘stitchwork’ version of Sten <3 ‘stitchwork’ as in I took several different versions of him for inspiration and jumbled them all into one design that I’m gonna use as /my version’ if I draw him in the future (which I do actually have a lot of ideas in mind but damn if I can find time or motivate mysel;f so we’ll see)

first and foremost I wanted to dress him in proper armor. So after much useless research online I finally fired up one of my old saved from DA2 to find out what Sten Rank Qunari actually fucking wear. so in the midst of one beating the shit out of my Hawke I took several screenshots to have references

his actual looks.. well I kept the jowls (or tried to anyway with my drawing ‘skills’) and the lack of eyebrows from in-game. also tried to keep coloring pretty close aside from the chance og his sclera color from white to idk grey? dark? idk i always fucking loved that form DA2 Qunari so I had to steal it for him and I’m not sorry. Also ‘warped’ his facial features a touch (tried to keep it generally the same but who knows if I succeeded) to match in wth the DA2 Qunari (because they’re the best designed Qunari and no one will ever change my mind on that) k so then the hair/beard/earrings I took from some concept art of him I found while looking up references and I jsut relly liked it ok?
