In the Kami mountains lie a temple which hold an order of wise monks. Balanced through wisdom and material arts, only two known men live within the temple that stands high above the Chinchin country; the elder master Min-cho and the young master Mori.

Mori's mother died when he was a just a pup-toddler. Alone and scared in the povered streets of Chinchin, was wonder up the temple door where was taken in during his hour of need. Living with Master Min-cho, he was train to the bone ever-day through his childhood, eventually becoming a great fighter in ancient arts.

He and Master Min-cho are only spoken through small grouped whispers since they are last two of the fighting masters of the Kami temple. There are even some tales of Mori fighting and defending for the good people in Chinchin against criminals.

However, his only downflaw is that he rarely knows what women are. Perhaps master Min-cho had some purpose not to tell him about the opposite gender and believes that women might distract him from his training, ...or that the old master forgot to mention that crucial fact of life to him when teaching Mori common knowledge.

There has never been a woman in the Kami temple for years... that is until Angeline arrived to the temple to learn about self-defense in the best way possible. So obviously Mori looks at Angeline as just another guy, being oblivious to her gender and focuses on helping her and testing her determinate to defend herself...
