Title Suggestions Needed (DONE) by TheViktor

Title Suggestions Needed (DONE)

TheViktor

EDIT: Seems like I either have gotten all the suggestions I needed by you guys which is greatly appreciated or I might need to do a new list for more places but I think that this is done by now. And now to just decide and figure out the proper title!

So yea, after I realized and reminded myself that not only is there a webcomic titled "Lancer: The Knights of Fenris" drawn by HeresyArt, I also learned that there is a tabletop RPG called "Lancers" created by Tom Bloom who also made the brutally awesome webcomic "Kill Six Billion Demons".

So yea while I do like my original title idea "Star Knight Lancers" since it does sound so marketable like it would fit as a toy set and also a cartoon show from the 80s and 90s, I felt like I was doing a mockbuster a la The Asylum (a movie production studio that is infamous for making mockbuster movies but also known for making the most insanely awesome monster movies like the Sharknado movies, seriously look them up, they are that awesome.) since HeresyArt's comic is about anthromorphic characters in space while Bloom's RPG is about giant mech battles in space and my idea is about anthromorphic characters with giant mechs in space.

And yea I know that similiar ideas and stories has been done at the same time like the so called "twin films" where movies has the same premise and ideas released at the same time by two completely different studios but executed differently like the three or four Pinocchio movies that came out in 2022 alone.

Not to mention the trope known as "Teenage Mutant Samuari Wombats", a term coined for the several cartoon shows, games and comics that was kickstarted right after the original 80s cartoon show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was aired, creating shows such as Biker Mice from Mars, Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars!, Dinosaucers, Extreme Dinosaurs, Mighty Ducks the Animated Series, Mummies Alive, Gargoyles etc.

In short, I know that I shouldn't be concerned about it, but I figured "Why not just go over other suggestions and see if my watchers can come up with other titles, just for laughs" unless you can convince me that my original title idea is fine as it is and let me keep it.
Anyway, just to help you out, the premise is pretty much about a team of anthromorphic animals looking aliens with flying giant mechs allies with human characters on Earth to help fight against a evil alien overlord and other bad guys so I do want a title that pretty much screams 80s and 90s, something that you could see placed on shelves in toy stores as action figures or VHS cases in video stores with the covers drawn by late Greg Martin whose work were illustrating cover art for various video games and VHS that you might recognise like Sonic the Hedgehog games, the Duck Tale games, TMNT, Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, Shining in the Darkness just to name a few examples.

So the best suggestions will be updated on the list and the best one will be drawn lottery style. So happy easter and hope that you have fun coming up with something real good.

I like "(Ariella and) The Interstellar Vanguard", even if it's a bit long, and "Ariella Squadron".

What about Galaxy Lancers, Orbital Guild? The combinations on the post are used on random games, NFT stuff from what I've seen.

Go Go Star Knights! is kinda cheesy. :P

Or something more subtle, like just changing from "Star Knight Lancers" to "Star Knight Guild" or something, if you prefer to keep the "Star Knight" part.
