Traditional speedpainting I did yesterday. It originally started out as a bird skull study, but then it turned into this. I had a very old greyscale painting started on a small, A/4 canvas, but I wasn't very happy with it, so I roughly covered the whole thing with white acrylics which made a pretty nice texture. On the top of that I sketched the bird skull using charcoal. And it's the painting part that I did yesterday, using cheap black ink and white acrylic.
I may go back and refine this a bit, but for now I like the rough look.
