I finally decided to give the orphans, Dusty and Glitch a mother. Like most of my characters, Temla is met for you to have mixed feelings about her. When she heard that an all-girls orphanage burned down she took it upon herself to adopt every child from the orphanage, she even adopted Dusty’s brother so that the two wouldn’t be separated, hints her nick name Mama Temla. So why did she name Dusty and Glitch, Dusty and Glitch. Well turns out she is the owner of a strip club on a pirate colony and strippers tend to go by fancy stage names. Now at the age of forty, most of the girls she adopted are now working for her as stripers, sex workers, bartenders, or in Dusty’s case privateer. Most of the stuff Dusty steels goes to her. Temla dose love every single one of her adopted children but you can’t help but wonder if she planned to have them all working for her.
