I continue to think about minor and unimportant characters.

These two are Elles closest older siblings. I don't know their names, but they're twins, currently in their sixties, although they don't look it. Every single one of Smilla's kids have inherited her longer-than-average lifespan along with the hair and the fire magic.

Like Elle they grew up in Rover's Crossing, but left when they were pretty young (20 at most). I think at some point Smilla lent them a lot of money so they could go be strong independent business women™ and then they just ditched her and never paid her back. They probably think Smilla's gonna kick their asses if she ever sees them again, but in reality Smilla just finds it kind of amusing and doesn't really care, considering she has pulled similar things in the past before she was loaded and on top of everything. In reality she's more proud of them than anything else.

-Unlike- Elle they are very much their mother's daughters. Condescending witches. Belili sympathizers, but mostly stay in Pride's circle in some of the rare areas that have been left alone long enough to be fairly modernized. I think they are involved in some kind of technological/construction development thing, but don't know what precisely. Both of them probably have a handful of kids of their own, too.

The long haired one was born with wings too, but they were undeveloped same as her arm, so she had them amputated at some point. I think she has some kind of organ defect too and is generally in poor health.

The short-haired one is the only one of Smilla's kids who isn't great at setting things on fire. Instead she is quite adept at wind-based magic.
